Jean is the CEO and Founder of Ingenio Solutions, a consulting firm focused on accounting and finance. She leads a talented team of CFOs and Controllers who work with clients to solve problems, create efficiencies, and improve the bottom line. Relying on her past experience as a VP Finance, Controller, and Audit Manager, Jean is a subject matter expert on finance and accounting operations.
Jean began her career as an auditor and audit manager at Arthur Andersen where she earned her CPA license. After 6 years at Andersen working in the real estate division, she joined The Koll Company in Newport Beach. Jean was a Project Controller, then promoted to Group Controller in Koll Management Services where she managed a team of 45 in accounting. Jean was recruited to join RCI Management, a timeshare resort management company in Corona. As the VP Finance, she led a team of 50 people providing monthly financial reporting, cash management, billings and collections, accounts payable, payroll, deed administration, budgeting, and corporate reporting. After outsourcing all transactional accounting work to a sister company in Mexico City, Jean joined a VC funded business process outsourcing company with several Arthur Andersen alumni. The company named LeapSource had a swift demise when the VC stopped funding the venture after only 16 months.
Jean returned to professional services and worked on consulting projects for CarrAmerica, Coldwell Banker, and Marriott as a consultant for Resources Global Professionals. She then joined Jefferson Well as a Director of Finance Operations and led their finance and accounting practice. She grew the practice to 40 consultants from 5 and increased annual revenues to $10M from $1M in 3 years. She won the Director of the Year award across 26 markets in the US and UK. Prior to founding Ingenio Solutions, Jean was a Sales and Client Services Director for Radius Worldwide which provides international accounting, payroll, and annual compliance services. She helped clients open new offices and establish legal entities in over 100 countries.
Jean currently serves on the Board of Directors for Dekra-Lite, an ESOP company that manufactures and installs commercial Christmas decorations in theme parks, shopping centers, and cities across the US.
One of Jean’s priorities is giving back to the community. Jean currently co-chairs Ethos, a networking community for executives in transition. She serves as a sacristan each Sunday at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Dana Point. Outside of work, Jean enjoys kayaking and boating, going to the beach, golfing, wine tasting, and traveling.
